Workout Schedule week of June 8th.

Monday 6pm

YMCA (Meet in parking lot on west side of the Y)

Coached Workout: BREATHING DRILLS: Belly Breathing/Abdominal Work. Lung Capacity/Rate of Breath.
GOAL: Increase lung capacity while running. Maintain & Control Your Breath.
ALL LEVELS: Beginner to Advanced.

Run Workout: 40 Minute “Light Post Workout” Easy/Medium/Brisk REPEAT.
GOAL: To practice Pace Change & Active Recovery. POSTURE: Not Collapsing.
ALL LEVELS: Beginner to Advanced.

YMCA Workout: Plank, Wall Squat, Push Up, Jump Rope. 30 Seconds Each. REPEAT 10 Times. Light
Stretches.

Leapfrog Athletics Tuesday Skills Ride

Tuesday 6:30am FREE WORKOUT. ALL WELCOME.

Cambier Park: SKILLS RIDE. (meet 8th Street South Side, across from the parking garage)
Coached Ride: Cadence. Riding the Small Chain Ring.
Practice Turning Over the legs and Full Pedal Stroke.
GOAL: To provide Bike Skills to all level riders.
ALL LEVELS: Beginner to Advanced.

Wednesday 6am

YMCA…Please see the Monday Workout above as this practice is the same.

WEDNESDAY 6PM…SOCIAL EVENT…WHY DO WE RUN??? 🙂

Thursday 6pm

YMCA (Meet in parking lot on west side of the Y)
COACHED WORKOUT: 5k Speed Work. 40 Minute Run: 1 Minute Brisk, 1 Minute Hard, 2 Minutes Medium (Active
Recovery) REPEAT.
GOAL: Develop Speed by Accelerating Thru Brisk Pace then ACTIVE RECOVERY.
ALL LEVELS: Beginners to Advanced.

RUN WORKOUT: (Alternate) 5 Mile Run. Build to Brisk Pace.
GOAL: To Practice Pace Change Building to Brisk.
Level: ALL LEVELS

YMCA WORKOUT: Treadmill and Stair Climber Intervals! 5 Minutes UPHILL Medium Effort Treadmill
5 Minutes Medium Effort Stair Climber. Repeat Circuit 4 Times Increasing Pace
each interval (any amount of increase is ok.)

Friday 6am

Friday 6pm FREE WORKOUT. ALL WELCOME.

Naples Beach Club (meet in the sand in front of the beach bar)
SWIM/SOCIAL: Join Leapfrog & Friends as we end our work week with this Casual Open Water Swim! This is
a FAMILY FRIENDLY ALL LEVELS SWIM & SOCIAL. Swim a Little or A Lot! Stay for Sunset and
Enjoy! BYOB for the Beach Social.
GOAL: To end your work week with a lite swim and some beach time with family/friends!!
ALL LEVELS: Beginners to Advanced (BEGINNERS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED!!)

SUNDAY: 6:45am: Bloody Mary Paddle! Naples Pier. ALL WELCOME.
7 Mile Paddle/Kayak from the Naples Pier to The Dock Restaurant.
Bring or Rent Your Own Board. Lifejacket and Whistle Required.
