Leapfrog Athletics Tuesday Skills Ride

Tuesday 6:30am FREE WORKOUT. ALL WELCOME.

Cambier Park: SKILLS RIDE. (meet 8th Street South Side, across from the parking garage)
Coached Ride: Pedaling Through Turns. Learn to PEDAL, BRAKE & SHIFT.
GOAL: To provide Bike Skills to all level riders.
ALL LEVELS: Beginner to Advanced.

Wednesday 6am

YMCA (Meet in parking lot on west side of the Y)

Coached Workout: PICK UP YOUR FEET!
Runners Lunge. Gain Power in YOUR STRIDE.
GOAL: To improve stride efficiency, Gain POWER in Your Stride, and increase speed.
ALL LEVELS: Beginner to Advanced.

Run Workout: 40 Minute Run Medium/Brisk Pace. 2 Minutes “Medium” 2 Minutes “Brisk”
GOAL: To practice pace change and Active Recovery. UNITS YOU CAN HANDLE.
ALL LEVELS.

YMCA Workout: Jump Rope and Stair Climber! 1 Minute Jump Rope, 4 Minutes Stair Climber Increasing
Speed each Minute. REPEAT CIRCUIT 6 Times.

Thursday 6pm

YMCA (Meet in parking lot on west side of the Y)
COACHED WORKOUT: 5k Speed Work. 1/2 Mile Medium (90 Seconds Rest), 2 by 1/4 Mile Hard (60 seconds
rest) REPEAT 4 Times.
GOAL: Increase the PACE of your Medium Effort.
ALL LEVELS: Beginners to Advanced.

RUN WORKOUT: (Alternate) 5 Mile Negative Split Run: Warm-Up, Easy, Medium, Brisk, Hard Mile.
GOAL: To Practice Negative Split Running.

YMCA WORKOUT: Treadmill Uphill 5k Run. 5 Minute Warm Up. Increase Incline to 4.0. RUN A 5k!
(Any Pace) Recover and cool down. Light Stretches.

Friday 6am

YMCA…Please see the Thursday Workout above as this practice is the same.

SWIM/SOCIAL: Join Leapfrog & Friends as we have the Fitness Challenge Swim Course set up with Buoys to
Practice the Course! This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY ALL LEVELS SWIM & SOCIAL. BYOB for the
Beach Social.
GOAL: To end your work week with a lite swim and some beach time with family/friends!!
ALL LEVELS: Beginners to Advanced (BEGINNERS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED!!)

Triathlon Training: Naples Beach Club
WORKOUT: PRACTICE THE COURSE! FULL TRANSITIONS AND SWIM BUOYS OUT.
GOAL: To Gain Course Knowledge, Practice Strategy, Practice Tips and Techniques.
ALL LEVELS: Beginner to Intermediate.
$25 DROP IN FEE. PAY ON-LINE OR CASH AT THE TRAINING.
